Madison Community Honors Slain Teen Tony Robinson

On Saturday, the Madison community honored slain teen Tony Robinson by marching from the City-County Building to a vigil at the scene of his death Friday evening. The unarmed, recent high school graduate was shot five times by a Madison police officer responding to a call on Williamson Street in Madison, Wisconsin.

Tony was well known in the neighborhood and was planning to attend college. The Young, Gifted and Black Coalition arrived on scene early for the Friday vigil and organized the Saturday march and community meeting. The following images and video provide a glimpse into the community response to the killing of #TonyRobinson.
